Hi,
Just wondered if anybody has any apartments available, genuine walking distance from the Oktoberfest, from Tuesday 23rd September to Saturday 27th September 2008.
We are 6 professional men (3 company directors, a solicitor etc etc) who have been coming over from the UK for 11 years, all are aged between 38 and 42.
We always stay in hotels but are considering renting an apartment if any are available for this time, that sleep 6.
Obviously we are a decent group who will respect others properties, most of the time we are out early and back late.
Let me know if anyone can help, it does need to be within walking distance as our usual hotel is very close so this is our other option.
Thanks
Andy

we're also looking for a place to stay (me +1) from 27th Oct. to 29th Oct. +- (main thing is that we're there on 28th for the TT Oct. do!) We've had a look online and everything seems either booked up or bloody expensive.
Any ideas?
Rilana, you are going to miss the TT do (and the fest itself) by a month if you are coming on those dates

Hi, I am looking for accommodation for 8 people (including myself) during this year's Oktoberfest ideally for 3 nights from Thursday 25th to Sunday 28th September 2008. Our group consists of three couples in our thirties (living in London and Oxfordshire) and my sister-in-law with her 14-year-old daughter who will be visiting from New Zealand, and we were ideally hoping to find a house or apartment on a short let, but will of course consider all alternatives. If you know of anywhere suitable/available that would be either relatively close to the fest or near an underground station, I would be everso grateful for any suggestions.
Many thanks,
Moomette

Hi all, was just reading this thread and although i can't help with accommodation near the Fest i have a suggestion which may help. I live in Feldkirchen, on the s2 line, maybe 20mins from the Hauptbanhof and they are building a small pension (B&B) just off my street, i'm assuming this place has'nt taken any bookings to date so if you find most places booked up for the fest then maybe you can try this place, just a suggestion not a solution. Will try and post a link if they have a website, if not will try and get a number for it as it nears completion, should'nt be long now.

Hi guys,
Me and my partner are also looking for a double room from the 19th of September 2008 to the 22nd, for 3 nights just for a two of us. Or if someone is looking for 2 people to share an apartment we would like to be considered. Please let us know if you have anything available for those dates.
Many thanks,
Brigitta and Brad

Hi
I am looking for something cheap and cheerful for 10-20 people to stay, last weekend of the Oktoberfest. A schussen halle, sports club, or gym would be OK- any where some freinds can throw down a sleeping bag... preferably with a toilet and a shower nearby. Any ideas?

Hi all,
We're looking for two furnished apartments to rent during Oktoberfest. They should be in Central Munich, but don't necessarily need to be right by Theresienwiesse. We need the following:
A one-bedroom, Sept. 16-Oct. 7
A two-bedroom plus living room, Sept. 7-Oct. 7
Both apartments should have a kitchen, bathroom, Internet hookups (no computers necessary, just WiFi or equivalent) and preferably a clothes washing machine. Both apartments are for my coworkers and I as we conduct tours to Oktoberfest.
Please feel free to contact me directly: ashley@ludustours.com
Thanks!

Hello all. Three or four of my friends and I will be coming to Munich for the Beer festival probably on the 30th Sept and will be staying until the 3rd Oct so we are looking for a place for three nights. Tuseday Wednesday and Thursday. We stayed in an apartment last year in Petruel ring and given the weather it was what made the holiday. We are all Irish lads i our late twenties and all professionals but more importantly house trained. Like most Irish we like a drink but know how to behave even when extremly full of Beer. We stayed in the apartment last year for two nights and had no problems with our land lady an extremely nice American girl. We left the place as tidy as we got it and would love to go back but I think the flat will now be rented on a long term basis. We wont be in the flat much during out three days as we will be at the wiesen or out sight seeing (yeah right). Beds would be nice but a soft floor will also do. We dont need a telly or kitchen facilities or any other luxuries such as chairs and tables etc just a space to sleep in darkness, relative warmth anywhere above 10 celcius and quietness, and a shower before hitting the tarmac in spots on our way to beer heaven. If you have accomadation that you think might suit us or know someone that does could you please let me know. Anywhere within reasonable distance to the wiesen will do. We can manage the U bahns but aren't major fans of walking, but as beggers we wont be choosy.

S.O.S...I need a place to stay from 25-9-2008 to 29--9-2008. We are in 5, I don't care if it's not in the centre of Munich, I just want it to be easy to reach without a car, cheap and clean.

Really have left this very late but wondering if anything available for these dates. Group of 4, maybe 5 but one person still trying to get flights.
Any information at all would be most appreciated.
