There's an open invitation to brunch and a special "Report from Australia" this Sunday (Jan. 20) at the new Ars Vini restaurant (Templinerstraße 7).
With Aussie-style humor, Paul, from SprachenGalerie, will present an eye-opening slide-show about overcoming culture shock on the smallest continent. (For more information about intercultural training see: www.SprachenGalerie.de) Expect as well the chance to meet an international mix of people.
The brunch is from 10am to 3pm, with the slide show about noon. On the menu is:
Vienna-style Tafelspitz (beef cooked in a double-cream dill sauce)
Fillet of Tilapia in a buttermilk lemon sauce
Vegetarian Gnocchis in spicy tomato sauce with pesto
Vegetarian lasagne
mixed salads, musli, scrambled eggs
and for dessert: creme Brulee and a chocolate fountain.
Tickets for the brunch are 8 Euro and may be purchased at the Wednesday Boat Party, at Ars Vini, or reserved by calling (030) 30609486. The ticket includes a 20% discount on any future fondue dinner.
Also, reserving early helps for figuring out how much food to prepare.
Great food, cultural entertainment, and the interesting mix of people who come to these events--no better way to spend your Sunday.
Greetings from Charles
