This coming Saturday, January 19th, the American Women's Club of Hamburg is hosting an Open House to which I would like to invite any interested ladies (sorry, men). This event is planned for current and potential members to get to know the club a bit better, explore some of the types of activities and groups that are available to you, and to share some time with each other in a relaxed and central location, the Hamburg Language Lounge. Please feel free to stop by for refreshments and a complimentary drink of your choice and say "hello".

In addition to meeting with other English speakers, you will also learn about some great AWCH happenings: a film group, Currents (magazine) staff, playgroups, ballet night, couples events, World Affairs, #5 Bus group, seasonal holiday parties, dinners and brunches, consulate invitations, book club, webteam, etc.etc.etc... the list goes on.

If you are interested in attending, send me a PM or just drop by for an hour. The Language Lounge is at Springeltwiete 2 (near Chilehaus), and the event lasts from 16:00-21:00. You don't need to be American to join.
