Wow, I really enjoyed that. Seems like a long time ago that Channel 4 had something really gripping on.
Great! Can't wait till next Wednesday, but why haven't I got E4? Help!

No, I dont have English TV, and even if I did I wouldn't have time to watch it, but it sounds like it could have been good, what sort of a program was it?

LOST is about a plane that crashes on an island way off course. Basicaly castaway with alot more people on the island. Oh, and a little Jurassic Park included too. Don't want to reveal too much.

Ah right, is that the same as the thing they had on German TV a while ago? Sounds similar.

Don't know, I haven't watched German TV for two years. I banned it from my house.

Anybody else see 'Lost' last night? Looks quite interesting - though not at all what I was expecting. There was I expecting a drama based on the interplay between the survivors of a plane crash; a drama that explores the human condition; a drama that highlights the frailties and vanity of human emotion... and what do I get? Turns out they've crashed their plane into Jurassic Park. Wonderful. And best of all there's a second series, so presumably they don't get off the bloody island anytime soon either... great.

Used to watch it in Stockholm. All a bit mad for me. They're talking about it on the Beeb radio at the moment.

Oooo it's good!
We finished season 1 and are just left with a million and one questions! It'll hook you... and you will spend your time making up all these theories in your head as to what is really going on there.
Season two starts 21st September 2005 in the US!

I thought it was great and I highly recommend it. It is one of few shows that makes me want to watch the next episode as soon as I'm done with the previous (I downloaded the whole season so this was easy to do).

Can somebody spoil it for me though please - are they dinosaurs? So far I've not actually seen it - just heard it running around a bit. So far I've copped the pilot, episode 2 and half of episode 3 - and you're right - against my better judgment I am getting hooked by it.

I loved it too. Except bloody Pro 7 (I think) ran the whole season and on Monday as usual I sat down to watch the next eposide and they were just reruns of the first season, without any warning or time between the first season and the reruns.
For those who can't wait for the next season you can get snippets of the coming shows on

Oh Jimbo. You are getting desperate and only on episode 3. This will never do. Hang in there kid...some things become clear...but then new things pop up. You will just drive yourself crazy. You can't watch the series with spoilers mainly because as far as I know there aren't any (and I have tried to find them on the web because I am a 'read the end of the book first' kinda gal).

Seen this on Pro-7 but can't really be bothered with watching it in German.
Anyone know if/when it's coming out on DVD, either in the US or the UK?
