HI

I often work from home so upgraded to T-DSL 2000 from 1000, and have seen 0 speed improvement. I did some speed tests before and after the upgrade and they are the same. Has anyone else had this problem?

if you are on DSL 1000 or 2000 run this test and let me know what results you get back

the best I have had is 700kbs which is good for DSL 1000 but not too cracking for DSL 2000

thanks

Don't rely on sites that are trying to sell you products to "speed up" your internet connection. Alternatively, did you remember to also upgrade your tarif from your ISP to 2000?

Try some of the links on this site But keep in mind that some of them test raw download bandwith and some of them incorporate latency measurements.

I have TDSL 2000 and it runs at 2000 nicely.

Hi

yep I upgraded my Tarrif from T-DSL 1000 to T-DSL 2000, I dont have to do anything else I think (My German is not very good so it make reading the T-Online site very poor)

I've seen the site you sent - thanks. I work in IT and my machines are very well tuned. I've also done speed tests from a private FTP site I have and this is also poor.

I've tried to contact T-online but no reply yet, I might have to ring them

cheers

You have to do 2 things. You upgrade your TDSL at Telecom not T-online. Then you go to T-online (if thats your provider) and upgrade your actual internet tariff too. It sounds like you have done one but not the other.

can I do it online?

Yes you can upgrade your T-Offline package and manage you DTAG stuff all
online. Goto the T-Online site ..

Click Here to open the site, then click on "Kundencenter starten" in the Upperright. Logon if needed
and have fun.

You're not the only one to be confused by this - we went through a long and arduous explanation on this 3072kbps DSL flatrate in Germany
