I've been checked three times within a time period of just one hour today, on the No 53 Bus...so watch out, the Ticket Checkers are about!

Are they in uniform or plain clothes? I thought I caught a glimpse of a headline today saying that they will have uniforms from now on or somesuch.

They all wore
MVV Jackets...so very visible. Some people got off the bus in rather a hurry!!

Yeah, I saw that headline as well but didn't read anymore. Does that mean that the ticket checkers will all be in uniform from now on or will there still be plain clothes ones as well?
i saw that headline too - seems a bit odd to put them in uniform - the element of surprise was all they had going for them!

Yeah but them in uniform gives the impression of more
MVV staff on public transport, especially with all the violence at the moment.

I love it watching the people with no tickets trying to go up the down escalators when they do a station raid, Munich transport is cheap compared to most other large cities and one of the few with the honesty system, no excuse for going black and getting a €40 fine

Unless you catch the S1 by the skin of your teeth, hop out at
Unterschleissheim and bing your ticket under the very eyes of the inspectors bearing down on you since Lohhof and leap back into the train.

Do they check tickets on the trams? I go two stops to work and have been 'living dangerously' all week since I've yet to get my
isarcard. Now that I've asked I'm sure I'll get the fine on my way home tonight

I was checked yesterday on the U2 and they were wearing plain clothes as usual.
