Guys, check your Inboxes! Some of you haven't even read the PM from July 3 requesting payment, I've tracked that and the reminder. If you don't pick them up and pay you're out. Sadly, I don't have phone numbers for everybody and can't contact those folk any other way than here.

Add me to the waiting list please. I guess at the end a lot of people will back out like last year. There's still hope.

I have notified the first few on the waiting list. Read your PMs, please! If I don't hear from you by this evening you will be surplaced by others on the list.

P.S. Things will be different next year - there will definitely be a deposit on signing up, you will be refunded if you draw out. At the moment I am covering about 20 seats, that's €600-odd that I don't really have.

Ok, I have paid the complete invoice for all of you. Now, make me stop crying and dry my tears with crisp cash or at least transfer confirmations. Another two guys off the waiting list are profitting from a TTer's fertility (wife has a due date close to the Wiesn) but the rest of you don't hold your collective breath.

S, how come you are having to carry it financially? I thought you said clearly if people didn't pay by now they were off the list and you seem to have enough people on the waiting list?
waiting list please, or at least let me know where this place is so I can stop over and say hi

I am working my way down the waiting list. You have 24 hours (weekend doesn't count) to react after I have sent the (tracked) PM, after that it's the next hopeful's turn. So be on your toes.

You don't like surprise parties? As soon as the last lingerers have paid up (one of whom is on vacation, the other on Taiwan) I will send out a PM with clear CCs. We have enough tables so that no one need rub elbows with their very own special antagonist. I am glad to say that there a few new names on the list. If any of you who have paid up have to pull out on short notice please PM and call me (I think I PMed my cell phone once ...), anyone on the waiting list please PM me your cell phone number. It's like being on the transplant list, just not as vital. You never know when the call will reach you.

Sorry, freckle, it ain't gonna happen, there's still about 15 ahead of you on the list and everyone has confirmed and/or paid - ahem! - Last year there were about 6 short notice drop-outs so it's important that I have a cell phone number for everyone on the waiting list. That goes for the last few sign-ups who got notified by PM as well!

Ok, dumb question but (I haven't been to the oktoberfest in years!) can you get wine with the vouchers or just beer??
What will be the deal with smoking, will we still be able to go outside...yes I know smoking will be allowed but I don't want to offend any of the antis
Also Sara whats with the t-shirts? Are you going ahead with that idea or has it been scrapped?
Cheers
sarabyrd
Jul 22 2008, 12:33 pm
You can buy the wine with your supplement voucher and - I think - with the beer voucher as well (I got water last year, yeah, should work) but you don't get change on a voucher!
Smoking will be allowed inside but we are close to an entrance and have our own little door to the outside world, you can always step out there.
T-Shirts: Did everyone see this?
QUOTE (sarabyrd @ Jul 5 2008, 11:03 pm)
I am a glutton for punishment: How many of you are interested in purchasing a custom-made polo shirt or t-shirt commemorating this annual event? If enough order the cost per shirt should be app. €20 but I have to get the order in soon. I have been looking at shirts approximately the color of TT's background (royal blue) with white printing. On the left front "TT 2008", on the back, centered, "2nd annual Wiesn-Do". Gives nothing away, says everything, you can even wear them at work.

I'm pretty sure a Hax'n costs more than a chicken and they will accept the voucher as part payment and the rest in cash.

Ok, it's money time.
I have to pay the invoice by 15 July so please issue the payment asap, we are talking almost €3,000 that I cannot pre-finance! If you don't pay up in time you will lose your seats! (it happened last year)
This is what happens when people "forget" to pay...
Don't even get me started: Before launching my successful career in corporate law I was a debt collector for 20 years. However, I never used the golf club, Scogs' mum did once but that was before my time.

West, South, North. Not so many from the East, too bad. Is everyone ok with wearing a nametag bearing name and location? Your fingerprints, iris-scan and nipple type (sorted by size, color and hairyness) will be filed for further reference and only made accessible to the Secret Service if bestiality is involved.
