Toytown Germany Oktoberfest Do 2008

After the huge success of last year's nationwide meet-up I would like to reserve the complete Boxe that we were in last year - a matter of 80 seats - for the second Sunday, i.e. 28 September 2008. Are enough of you interested and willing to commit yourselves that far in advance? I will contact the Hofbräu tent when they begin processing reservation requests in March and would like to provide them with an approximate number.

I'd be interested, but can't say for sure because I don't know when my usual visitors are coming, so a tentative yes!

last years prices were €8 for a beer and €9 for the half chicken, to reserve you need to preorder 2 beers and a half chicken so €25 in total, 2008 prices will be similar

The price last year (Scogs is allowed to be wrong sometimes) was €30 per head for two beer vouchers, a chicken voucher and a supplemental food/drink voucher. I assume there will be a slight increase this year. Remember: This reservation is a freebie regarding fees, you pay for the vouchers only!

I'll be a yes if it doesn't conflict with the Hash House Harriers Oktoberfest weekend -- as far as I know, the dates haven't been set for that yet.

Good job all, 50% capacity counting the maybe-s. Keep the registrations coming, the Boxe I am looking at is the best in the whole tent, having its own side entrance to let in light, air and people.
