Burns Night celebrations - Hamburg

Before it's getting too late just to let you know we'll do a Burns night on Friday 25.01. there'll be music, poetry, maybe dancing and of course Haggis. Starts at 19h with food, drink and the "serious" part. Entry 8,00 Euro at the door. Will include food (the meaty or the vegetarian version of the great chieftain) and a small beer or equivilant soft drink.

Anyone wanting to do a poem, tell a joke, sing a song or tell us a little story is more than welcome. Robert Burns

We have plenty of Haggis, normal AND vegetarian, there are some nice Whiskies lined up for you, we have live music and hopefully it'll tun out to be a good night!!

What a great evening. We turned up a little late, but had a phantastic time with a really great unexpected live session.

Enjoyed ourselves very much. Getting up today is a little bit hard though.

My friends really enjoyed themselves last night and enjoyed the haggis a lot.Apart from being accused of being a weegie i enjoyed it as well,lookingforward to wednesday and seeing the jambos win.

I was part of the late night crowd, but we had a super time last night in a very relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely!! Just reminds me that I am not as young and as resilient as I use to be.

I know you had to go out again last night...how are you guys doing today? We couldn't even get off of the sofa last night.

Well Mat hat to leave at about four p.m. as it takes a long time to make him look like a 78 year old...
We went out again after the show with a few friends, and it was again very nice, slightly less boozy I'd say, but not much. Mai Tais kept on going.
But we slept in and are both fine - especially since ManU just won 3:1 and we were lazily watching it from the sofa.
