Working in Germany and living in Switzerland

Hello everyone,

I am spouse of German citizen,I am currently living in Germany but relocating to switzerland.My husband is working and living in switzerland.I would like to apply for german passport after 3 years of our marriage.
Here are my questions:

1. Can I work and register in germany and lives in switzerland(Border of germany and switzerland) for me to get my german passport?because I believe is only possible if I am register in germany.
I will have permission to live in switzerland also because my husband lives and work there.

2.Is it possible to get german passport after 3 years of marriage,register in a flat and works alone in germany but living together with my husband in switzerland.I will be working very close to the border between germany and switzerland.

Why would you need a German passport in the first place?

Doesn't really matter why, does it, Eurovol? Maybe she just wants one, being married to a German and all.

Because I want to become German citizen.

Even if your married to a German, I don't think you can apply for a German PP until your here for 7-8 years, and take many hours of German class.
You also don't state which citizenship you currently have. This can also put a damper on your PP plans if your current country of citizenship
doesn't allow for dual Passports. German, as of now does not allow Dual passports. (Depending on who your talk to at the Embassy)

This could well differ for citizenship within the EU & outside it. I'd make a guess that the OP is from outside the EU & since OP hasn't put much info into profile we are left to guess...

You are wrong,If you are married with a german citizen you can apply for a german passport after 3 years not until 7 to 8 years as you qouted .I had finished my German integration course and also the Orientation course.
