So I'm an AOL user, and I'm just checking my emails, and AOL, which provides a lot of content and services, has a big fat link to a "dating" site they're pushing. It's called AOL.Lovepoint and promises "Erotikabendteuer oder Seitensprung". So I click and it offers me four choices: Blind Date (fair enough), Partnertausch (hey, if everyone's on board, why not?), Affäre (wait a minute), and finally Seitensprung (Yikes!).
Now I've been here long enough to know that infidelity seems to be something of a national pastime in Germany, but it strikes me as odd that a large, listed, multinational corporation like Time Warner would actually be egging on its customers to cheat on their spouses.
UR Thots?

Dude, I'm single. But this site is basically offering me someone else's cheating spouse. So no, I didn't sign up.

I think this was exactly the frame of mind AOL's latest though-squad was in when they conjured this up. I mean, name one big content supplier that doesn't have something similar? Maybe not as in-your-face, but still, it's there, and where there's a will there's a way.

Fair enough, but the basic premise of the site seems to be discreet cheating. I'm just surprised that a big-name corporation would push somehting of that nature.

Nope, it's offering you the chance to give them some money.

Don't be so cynical Dave, they're donating some of the proceeds to needy kids:

Oh ok, you're right, how could i be so harsh on such a beautiful offer to find love and treat kids too, shame on me.

They are covering both ends of the affair from lust to unwanted consequence.

Well Hell Danny Boy. This makes me feel warm all over. Now I can cheat on my wife as I will be
fucking for charity.

Again, how many little boys and girls lives will I be saving?
