Hi there!

New to forum - will be moving to Dresden in Feb 2008. I play in the UK and like most have fun range from Champion through to 4th section.
I was wondering what the UK style brass is like in the region? A colleague of mine seems to think there are loads of bands but have not seen that many on ibew site http://www.harrogate.co.uk/harrogate-band/ibew.htm. I cannot get to 4-bars-rest since work has blocked the site and home is dial up...

Any ideas welcome!

Thanks

I am wondering why you would expect "UK style" brass in Dresden of all places ... but both the Musikverein Dresden 71 e.V. and the Blasorchester der Feuerwehr Dresden (concert band of the Dresden firefighters) are constantly looking for new members
