Hi. How do you say?

Can you please call the firewood supplier. I need 1 meter of wood delivered after 4 p.m. on any weekday or any time on Saturday.

Sounds like you might need someone to light your fire too. 1 metre might be stretching it. Please call the fireman.

Something like:

Koennten Sie den Brennholzlieferer bitte anrufen? Ich brauche 1 Meter Holz, was nach 16 (sechzehn) Uhr waehrend der Woche oder am Samstag den ganzen Tag lang geliefert werden soll.

The sentence structure you used in EN was ratehr complicated though, so if you need shorter sentences in English, I can break it down for you.

Excuse my spelling & grammar, I come from the 'practical functional' school of German, but something like this may work: Haben Sie ein steer brennholz zu verkaufen, und koennen Sie es liefern? Wann? Unter der woche nach sechszehn uhr, oder tags uber am Samstag.

Edit: Beaten to it with a better sentence. The dialect German for 1m3 of firewood is a 'Steer'.

I didn't realise she meant a cubic metre, thanks for that, HellesAngel! Hopefully I shall be initiated into the ways of fireplaces when I find some to burn myself.

Und bitte, es sollte furtz trocken sein, oder die alte kuh gegenueber wird schimpfen wann ihr Fenster offen ist. ;-)

Watch out for people who try to sell your horribly wet and mouldy wood, and be careful where you store it to dry. I don't have any place to dry it, so have to pay more for dry wood. If I burn it and it's just a teeny bit damp, the neighbours go crazy - I mean, of course they have their windows open ALL NIGHT even during the winter... My pipes would freeze, and not just in the house either.

and remember...you can't have too much wood in front of your hut.
