As it's my last Fri nite in FFM, hope to see FNDC upstairs in Waxy's. Who knows what happens after that

Is it ok if I tag along with 2 or 3 of my work colleagues ? We are flying over tomorrow from London for an ECB meeting (which we conveniently moved from a Tues to the Fri) then the weekend is ours !! The one maybe for tomorrow is the guy that actually lived in Frankfurt for a couple of years so our tour-guide may be out of action :-(

So what is a typical FNDC night like ? How many peeps, how many pubs, do you go on clubbing, age ranges ? etc etc.

Just curious but I think this forum is great !

Fyi - a Weinfest started last yesterday, is on until 4 May. Its at Liebfrauenplatz (I may have made the exact location up..) - its beside the Haagen Daz / Jack Wolfskin square down the side road from Hauptwache/Saturn

I'm bringing my A game, so we better not get stuck at Waxy's... we choose an after club yet? Cocoon!

plan to go to the little square at the start of Leipziger Strasse (on right handside) in Bockenheim, some nice bars there with outside seating.

going start things off in the African bar, it is opposite Morton's steak house.

this has come up a couple of times I live in Bockenheim and know what I am talking about !

so do i. surf and turf is in the west end nord near gruneburg park. Morton's, or M, is in the westend south of bockenheimerlandstr towards the DB twin towers.

ok, the word on the street (!), is a bar crawl up (and maybe down again !) the fressgasse. Hopefully the weather will hold out and we can sit out in the sun again like last friday.

Also I hear Pacha is at Kinka club, which could be an option for later on.

I'm new to the area and to the group. Can anyone join in on the event? when is the next one?

This event is open to anyone who is English speaking and new/ish in Frankfurt (most of us are aged 20ish-30ish!!), also people who have been here a bit longer !

Rules of FNDC : No complaining about work, money or other depressing shit !

The usual chain of events : 10-20 revellers congregate for a few tipples in some nice bars, then hit a club if people still want to party into the small hours of the next day.

that is about it.

Next one is this friday. Venue to be announced ! Watch this space !

No professional networkers, as in people joining for sales leads. You know who you are !

in and around the fressegasse area seems to be a hit in this weather, perhaps maintain this winning formula again for this friday !

Remember that the Fressgasse Weinfest started yesterday, the whole area around Fressgass and Alte Oper will be rammed tonight. Would suggest you guys meeting outside Cafe Rosso and then hitting the Fest. Don't think you'll get seats at the cafe but can try, guess it will still be relatively early doors. The Weinfest is always a good laugh, great drinks and fantastic food!
