Meetup for capricious 20-somethings

Ok everyone, a couple notes: You can re-copy and paste at anytime before Wednesday at 6am. So if you see where democracy is taking the group before then, and don't like it... feel free to change your vote. Hell, group together, form a bloc to change it to something else. Once the group has decided though, there's no going back.

Also, only vote for a venue if you actually plan on showing up.

One would imagine this is implied

The Rules:
- Copy/Paste the existing list (i'll start here) and add your name
- Add your vote for a bar next to your name

On Wednesday morning, I'll look at the votes, ignore them, and post the executive decision

One note: please limit your choices for venue to the following options, for clarity:
Anything or a specific venue (or a vote against a specific venue)

If you want to change you vote, simply copy the list and re-post with a different vote. That’s what I’ll be doing now when I have a more helpful vote than “anything�

shock, horror! I just checked the Fredricksburg farms website.. apparently they don't list Mango Almond Salsa anymore... I thought our Karstadt only got a single shipment... alas this could be lost for all mankind!

i have to back out (again). i have to pack for switzerland for tomorow, but now I also have to meet-up with a former german professor of mine who is in town and offered to rent me her munich apartment for the next 2 months! wish me luck!

oh hell, why didn't I look at a map first? Long walk from the S-bahn, and its on that side of the river... so far far away.

Ok, I officially suck... I stayed in, succumbing to laziness. Did anyone make it out? How was the location?

I officially sucked too. I fell asleep at like 7:30, like a loser. Ha, oh well.

The bar was freakin amazing - my new favorite place in Munich. Not a good setting for a normal Thursday night meetup - no way it could have accommodated 20 of us. But we only had about 7 total, so we had one table in the back and it worked out perfectly. Cocktails were delicious (and potent) - I think we each ended up trying 2 or 3 different ones, with loads more on the menu tempting me to go back. Staff was very accommodating, too. A couple of us were there for like 10 minutes before anyone else showed up, and they gave us a free shot to help pass the time.

Anyway, probably not a place for us to go with the group, but if you are looking for a nice night out with a few friends, I'd highly recommend it.
