Does anyone know where you can go running indoors other than the dreaded treadmill in the gym which I find so zzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Cheers...

I used to be a member of gym that is now called Alixia or sumfing like that. I seem to remember some sort of indoor track laid out there, but otherwise keine Ahnung.

Thanks. Yeah, Im a member of Elexia-could that be the same one? Im in the one near the Westend but they don't have a running track...Do you think there could be anything out by the Olympia?

Elixia on the Leopoldstrasse between FF-Ring and Petuel-Ring. Some members cover all "Standort"

Put a jacket on...and run outside?? It doesn't get that cold here...and running around an indoor track must be as boring as running on a treadmill anyways...

I don't know of any indoor running tracks here..

Oh I couldn't it is just too kalt, kalt, kalt...!

Wear some long underwear and some heated gloves and you should be perfect!!

The key though is to take 2 shots of whiskey before you leave...That'll warm you up!

Heated gloves! eine guten Idee-still I think I'll pass...

There's an indoor running track (guess it's 200m) in the olympiapark close to the tennis centre.. i.e. on the opposite side of the stadium to the swimming pool..

Seen a few people sprint training in there but whether it's open to the public I do not know..

As canuck says though.. Unless you are a sprinter... I'd say it would get pretty boring ..
It's not THAT cold outside..

Even in a gym on the treadmill you at least have the occasional nice thing to look at..
