Apart from her being possibly the most eligible chick in the world right now, why else might I be posting this photo here? Answers on a postcard to the usual address. No prizes.

Some good guesses but none of them made the connection. Kathie was the closest. The babezilla in the photo is indeed Zara Phillips (topic title now updated). Zara is one of the Queen's granddaughters and 11th in line to the throne. Last year she was voted by readers of
FHM as being the 99th most desirable woman in the world. Personally I'd have ranked her much higher but there's no accounting for taste. Anyways, last weekend she competed for the first time in the Burghley horse trials. She was widely tipped to perform well but no one expected her to get the result she did: she came in second. This now puts her in good contention for the Athens olympic team next year. If she does go to Athens she'll be following in the footsteps of her mother, Princess Anne, who of course won gold back in 1976. Zara herself has been riding ever since she was a little girl. For the past 8 years her horse of choice has been the one pictured above. It is a 17 hands tall chesnut stallion which she part owns together with her sponsors, Cantor Financial. And the horse's name? Toytown.

Bob your genius is amazing. Where do you come up with such things? Wow. I think Kathie and I deserve to share the prize though. I mean, maybe Ms. Phillips' pin said "Toytown" on it, then I would be part right too?

Was gutted to learn that Toytown is not competing in the Athens olympics. The horse was
injured back in January so in May this year Zara Philips had to be told that she was "not required for selection".
Both Toytown and Zara are still young so there is every chance they could compete in Beijing in four years time. The question is, however, will the TT website still be around in 2008?

I was watching my regular show jumping last night when I came across this horse. A great fine fellow, called Toytown.
She did well, and even made the
news today.
Here is a better pic of Zara Phillips in action.

Well if she already rides Toytown, you have, by proxy, been on the receiving end.
She is a cutie though. Zara that is, not the horse.

I wouldn't divert this topic! This is the only discussion where a famous woman is appreciated ...unlike the other georgeous models like Paris Hilton and Britney who were called horses and TT men wouldn't sleep with even if they were paid for it.
So voila, this thread needs to be framed.

and hasn't she had her tongue pierced which really upset liz?
Did somebody say she did WELL? That must qualify for Understatement of the Year, then, because she (riding Toytown)
"only" won the individual and team gold at the European Eventing Championships last week.

In case nobody else has noticed, Toytown won a gold medal at the
world equestrian championships recently. I think we should all thank Editor Bob for giving the 11th in line to the throne such a good ride. Err... that is...
