Apart from her being possibly the most eligible chick in the world right now, why else might I be posting this photo here? Answers on a postcard to the usual address. No prizes.

Gizza clue - Who is it?
kathie
She's certainly a royal... they all look the same! Is it Zara Philips?
NoGo
Looks like a bloke to me. Is that the gag?
Elfenstar
Is that a TT button on his/her lapel?
don_riina
The horse is wearing an oversized version of one of those keylace things?
Keydeck
It's international "Women on Top" day perhaps?
spiderv6
Which one is the horse?
Noddy
Is she talking like a pirate?

Some good guesses but none of them made the connection. Kathie was the closest. The babezilla in the photo is indeed Zara Phillips (topic title now updated). Zara is one of the Queen's granddaughters and 11th in line to the throne. Last year she was voted by readers of FHM as being the 99th most desirable woman in the world. Personally I'd have ranked her much higher but there's no accounting for taste. Anyways, last weekend she competed for the first time in the Burghley horse trials. She was widely tipped to perform well but no one expected her to get the result she did: she came in second. This now puts her in good contention for the Athens olympic team next year. If she does go to Athens she'll be following in the footsteps of her mother, Princess Anne, who of course won gold back in 1976. Zara herself has been riding ever since she was a little girl. For the past 8 years her horse of choice has been the one pictured above. It is a 17 hands tall chesnut stallion which she part owns together with her sponsors, Cantor Financial. And the horse's name? Toytown.
Elfenstar
Bob your genius is amazing. Where do you come up with such things? Wow. I think Kathie and I deserve to share the prize though. I mean, maybe Ms. Phillips' pin said "Toytown" on it, then I would be part right too? smile.gif
Editor Bob
Was gutted to learn that Toytown is not competing in the Athens olympics. The horse was injured back in January so in May this year Zara Philips had to be told that she was "not required for selection".

Both Toytown and Zara are still young so there is every chance they could compete in Beijing in four years time. The question is, however, will the TT website still be around in 2008?
Elfenstar
I hope to heavens not.

I was watching my regular show jumping last night when I came across this horse. A great fine fellow, called Toytown.

She did well, and even made the news today.

Here is a better pic of Zara Phillips in action.

Almost two years to the day since the last time. wink.gif

Forget the horse, I want to ride Zara.
Yeti
Well if she already rides Toytown, you have, by proxy, been on the receiving end.

She is a cutie though. Zara that is, not the horse.
Twirlie
Another photo might be useful at this juncture...

@6783kge

Am I correct in assuming that the horse in the first picture you posted is not the same horse as the one in the second picture. Which one is the horse called Toytown?
6784kqe
Thats the Princess Royal !

She' a cutie now but remember: in 30 or 40 years she'll look like Princess Anne.
Yeti
In 30 or 40 years I'll probably look like Princess Ann, if I'm lucky.

Come on, where is ZeeMe? The TT's perfect connection!!
bonydebbie
I wouldn't divert this topic! This is the only discussion where a famous woman is appreciated ...unlike the other georgeous models like Paris Hilton and Britney who were called horses and TT men wouldn't sleep with even if they were paid for it.

So voila, this thread needs to be framed.
grazzenger
and hasn't she had her tongue pierced which really upset liz?
Kay
Did somebody say she did WELL? That must qualify for Understatement of the Year, then, because she (riding Toytown)
"only" won the individual and team gold at the European Eventing Championships last week.
Daisy
That is indeed the same horse. It has the same markings on his face.
lucifer
I've seen prettier Pikeys.

There is currently an orchestrated PR campaign to make Zara Phillips the BBC Sports Personality of 2005.

You too can vote for her online. Make your nomination here: BBC sports personality voting. Voting continues until noon on 8.Dec.2005.

Mind you anyone has to be better than Zara P.

Vote for Peter Crouch! smile.gif
OhFFS
In case nobody else has noticed, Toytown won a gold medal at the world equestrian championships recently. I think we should all thank Editor Bob for giving the 11th in line to the throne such a good ride. Err... that is... ph34r.gif

QUOTE
Under normal circumstances Toytown would have got me out of jail

QUOTE
My main worry is that Toytown comes out of it all in one piece

Amen, sister.

Love the first quote. To be honest though, I don't see Ed Bob rolling up to the local clink at 3 in the morning to post bail.

Is it true that the poshest girls are the dirtiest?
Yeti
Is that a general question or are you following a definite line of inquiry?
MonksTown
Just a general enquiry out of idle curiosity as I dunnae shag posh women like.
