I recently learned about this and fancy trying it out, anyone interested ? stops in sachsenhausen and bornheim. i think it has potential !

it's quite nice for kids too, they get apple juice instead of apple wine. At least, when I went there were quite a number of kids onboard.

As far as I know the public routes are only on weekends and bank holidays. Or are we talking about hiring the whole thing out again? If that is the case then any time is possible although might not be so good in the evenings when it is dark.

Hm, and since we'll be playing tourist anyway, maybe after the tram we could go to Sachsenhausen for a traditional Frankfurt meal at one of the taverns? Have to admit it is something I have seldom done.

They run every 35 mins, so if we fill it up then not too long for next one. Always pubs nearby to wait in til next one !

Oh, this should be really good! Costs 59 euro including whisky tasting. It runs every last sat of a month. Will anyone be up for it? Say in February or March?

Have you reserved a separate tram? Or told them you'll be bringing 15 on that date as if you all just show up they will not be able to cope with the extra numbers I don't think. The tram holds 22 people per carriage and depending on season usually only 1 carriage running. Best to give them a call if you haven't already

If I'm over this bloody flu by then (and I'm sincerely hoping that I will be) then I'd be up for it too...
