Christmas presents for yourself

This could be something large or small. With all the time and money spent on others this holiday season, how are you treating yourself special this year?

OK, I'll go first... I got a Flügelhorn to play with the Blaskapelle, since I learned that in Germany trumpet and flugelhorn (think Chuck Mangione) parts require separate instruments.

I picked up this to go next to this.

But that's just "work" related. I'll get myself something at the sales in England on the 27th. Or a couple things...

Well, for starters a good set of pots for my kitchen . I burned my large saucepan up last week trying to cook broccoli. Then when I'm on my Caribbean criuse in a few weeks in one of the duty free shops on either St. Maarten or St. Thomas I'm going to look for a nice expensive watch as my arm deserves it.

A new pair of Manolos! A new Marc Jacobs bag! A few cashmere sweaters!

Oh quap...I forgot to get something for hubs!

Well, since I just came back from a nice South Asian trip with some jewellery, and I all ready bought the winter boots I wanted, and well, treated myself to a new digital camera a few weeks ago...I already decided to go to an expensive salon to get a new do, just need to decide where to go.

A new Wüsthof paring knife. Love it. New XCountry kit too.

A new job! (I hope)

We bought eachother matching new wonderful kick-ass computers. (which was really me buying myself a computer and my gf also wanting one, so well...)

The "old" ones go on sale soon (I gotta format the HD's yet)

got myself a prime lens and speedlight for my camera and I'll be treating myself to some after christmas sales when we go to the US

well, there's this pair of jeans that i've had my eye on for months...which are € 275. i know, i know, i know...no rational person would pay that much for jeans, but they just fit so well...i think i should treat myself (and be forced to live on canned beans for the next month/not be able to pay my rent...but what the hell)

A warm pair of UGG boots for the winter and an ipod shuffle for the gym/running.

The husband is already buying me a quantity of gold and silver (in the form of harp strings and not jewelry), but it looks like I'll have to replenish my own perfume stock this year.

A life size Russian machine-gun made out of glass and filled entirely with vodka.
Saw it in a shop t'other day and im haggling down for it. Dont know how im gonna get it home on the U-bahn.

I'll have rom for several of those soon when I have tiled my main cellar! Gotta dig out the electric guitar first though and play with that. Not done that for ages. Years in fact.

However this weeks new astro toy is a connector between my Canon camera and my telescope. Watch the Space section for my new efforts.

I didn't buy myself anything since I'm unemployed - but Future hubby bought me a new pair of ECCO boots I've had my eye on and I got them as an early Christmas Present. Now I can stomp around Berlin in style and comfort...soooo cozy with wool lining and more comfortable than my Nike Trail Tennies.

New DVDplayer and radio receiver with suroound sound.Now when rovers play on the Tele its like being there.
