Where to buy guitar strings

hello fellow TTians...was wondering where i could buy guitar strings and other accessories for my guitar.

Try Lindberg. They're in the process of expanding their store, and it's absolutely huge now.

A guitar shop, maybe?

This is impressive laziness.

There's one place just south of Karlsplatz (east side of the street), one on Tal a block west of the Isartor on the south side of the street.

There are about 500 other places in town, too.

What do you mean impressive laziness...i am new to town...i walked all around in marien platz and could not find one...so please do not give unhelpful advise like saying they are all around town

Welcome to the forum, pest. While Munich, Bavaria and Germany may be new to you, there is nothing (well, hardly anything) new under the sun. Take a look at your screen, especially at the top right where you see "Search:" in bold and red print. If you type, for example, guitar shop (and) and hit the quick search you will find that guitar shops, strings and other musical instrument topics have already been covered in one way or other.
The Search function is your friend, practice, use it, find what you need. And if not, feel free to post your questions.

You think it's likely there'd be a music shop right at Marienplatz? wow.

Anyways, I gave you two examples within a 5 min walk of Marienplatz. and it's advice.

You could always take a look at JMS Music English owned Music Shop in Oberbayern :-)

There's a great spot for working musicians called Manhattan Music near Rosenheimer Platz off the S-bahn line between Isartor and Ostbahnhof. Herr Schuster's a smart guy with a lot of experience. Huge selection of strings right behind the counter. It's at Rosenheimer Str. 85.
