He isn't looking for the german word for lightbulb. He wants to know how to find the right colour temperature for a white light. You did not understand the question - so no reason to be rude and aggressive.

Just look at the colour temperature of the bulbs on the box. You want something between 5000k and 6000k for a white light. This will be marked on the box somewhere and the packaging will make it pretty clear that they are trying to simulate daylight colour temperature. You get 'em in all the big shops.

For instance the Osram bulbs are called "Daywhite" with a crap logo of the sun - so its pretty easy once you get going. Also most of the boxes are written in several languages anyway.

Out of perversity - I need to buy a fluorescent tube light to fit under our kitchen units.
"L8W/25 Universal-White Made in Italy OSRAM"
Made by Osram Italy - Address given as OSRAM Gmbh in Augsberg -
I suspect it is owned by the US GE.
There are various grades of fluorescent tube light types.
The bigger the retailer (usually a Baumarkt in D) the more likely
you are to find what you want. Hairdressers and butchers have their own requirements...
I suspect lighting is almost a monopoly between Philips and GE...

Most Europeans use yellow lights (tungsten /halogen/neon) in living (bed room / hall/ passage) rooms because yellow light keeps room warm and gives warm and cosy feelings especially in winter times.
People in Germany use Fluorescent lamps (we call tube light in India) in kitchen, bath rooms, toilet, garage, underground etc.. You can find them easily in lighting section of any major Baumark as pointed by other members.

once again you suspect wrong. Osram (Siemens) is one of the two largest lighting manufacturers in the world.
