This one for me is about getting up really late, now eating breakfast then taking a shower and meeting up with a friend for coffee and enjoying the sunshine, and after that study a lot (finish one book, read another entire book and write a short 1000 word paper) because I have been lazy all weekend.

I read two books yesterday. A Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon and Eleanor Rigby by Douglas Coupland. Then I started a third book, but only read the introduction as it was 4am already, Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. Fun day, but a lot of reading for one day.

How anyone can sit and read all day is beyond me, puts me straight to sleep. It takes me months to read a single book.
Mariposa
Jan 14 2008, 5:42 pm
I love reading. Depends on my mood how much I can read in one day, but yesterday it was 760 pages or so. I hardly ever read that much in one day, the exception being Harry Potter which I always read in one sitting, but yesterday it just seemed like the thing to do. It helps when the books are good. If it took me months to read a book, I would have long had to find a new major. (But some books take me months as well, because I am not really into them so I will read other books instead.) And then I have phases (of a couple of weeks or so) when I don't read at all.
