Hi. I am from the US and recently graduated from college. I'm looking to join a choir in Berlin. I don't speak much German, so one in English or with native English speakers would be best. Anyone know of any or how to join? I live in P-berg and would prefer something in my part of the city. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Hi everyone,
I´m looking for tips or pointers about where to look for community choirs or singing groups in Berlin. I have a background in singing and have just moved here so am keen to find out if there are groups or community choirs that I can join.
Thanks!

Hi,
My husband and I have just moved to Berlin with his work and I would love to join a choir out here. Would be really helpful to know if Oregon Ducks or Reesy had any success? I tried the Embassy Singers website but they don't need any female voices. I will have a go at navigating the other website mentioned but would love to hear if anyone has any information.
Ta muchly.

I'm setting up a choir to sing at the English service that meets at the Marienkirche in Mitte (near Alexanderplatz) at 7.30 on Sunday evenings, as of Trinity Sunday 7 June.
We'll sing a motet or two and maybe a mass setting.
The liturgy is middle-of-the-road Anglican, in a gorgeous church with a huge acoustic.
There's no piano to rehearse with, and the organ's miles away, so everything we sing will be unaccompanied.
We'll have an hour's rehearsal on the day (although I can send out PDFs in advance if you need them).
We have a core of singers already, but we'd welcome new people to join us.
For the reasons mentioned above you'll need to be a fairly confident reader and ideally you'll have some experience of choral music.
There's a fair chance that we'll head to the pub after the service.
If you're interested, PM me, send me an email at stephenxyz@aol.com or call me on 0151 2669 4441.

Hi Everone,
I've just seen this post and want to let you all know about the choir I have just set up, its very informal and lots of fun. I am a singer and performer with years of live, recording and teaching experience.
The group is a singing workshop/choir, focusing on vocal techniques and singing songs with different parts and harmonies. We're singing mainly pop and traditional songs, with many arrangements I've composed myself. It is a mixed ability group from complete beginners to experienced singers. We meet on tuesday nights from 19.30 - 21.00 in Kreuzberg - nearest u-bhan is Schlesisches Tor. The cost is 5 euro per session.
Come and learn how to improve your singing, extend your range, warm up safely, build vocal confidence and find out how much fun it can be singing in harmony with other people!
I also offer 1 to 1 singing lessons and more intensive small group lessons. You can find out more at www.lyndseycockwell.com, mail me here or call me on 01624571850 for more details.
All Welcome!
