Draytek Vigor2500 with Call & Surf Comfort

I have a DSL tarif from 1&1 and I'm thinking about switching over to T-Online's Call & Surf Comfort. The router that came with my 1&1 tarif is a Draytek Vigor2500we. I have never had a problem with this router as long as I have had it. If I switch DSL providers, will I be able to keep this router? Is it compatible with Call & Surf Comfort? Right now my connection is 1.5mbit and the new one wil be 6mbit. Is there any reason why it won't work?

After searching forever on the T-online site I found a list of router/modems that were compatible but mine wasn't on it. I just searched for another 5 minutes but I couldn't find the list again. Can't find anything over there.

Anybody have any experience with this? I found a few German forums but the info seems to be outdated. Can anybody recommend a German language forum that is active where I may find more info?

Assuming 1&1 haven't locked the router to prevent you from entering different PPPoE details then it's not a problem to use T-Online. If they have locked it in some way then it probably simply needs a firmware update with something more neutral. If you do switch to Call&Surf you can also get a subsidised modem/router/WLAN/VoIP as part of the deal which may actually better..
