Christmas Eve dinner party

In previous years we've had dinner at Swagat on Christmas Eve. This year I was thinking changing the location.I'll look around for a good restaurant which is open on Christmas Eve. All suggestions welcome. Sign on if you're staying in Munich over Christmas and are interested in some fun and laughter, plus food and alcohol, of course from around 7.30 pm onwards.

I have done some prechecking and a few of the Indian are open, we could have a room at Surbahar (corner Einstein and Flur) that is non smoking. I want to check Safran too, they are generally good to TTers too. I would be a +2 (might be baby sitting someones dad).

Thanks, Carm. Subahar or Safran sound good. They're both Haidhausen, right? Good for some after-dinner drinks somewhere. There'll be places open in Haidhausen. Looks like we're already four. Maybe we could have a sign-up sheet to make things easier?

Safran is open Christmas eve too.

I think most Indians are open that night, but remember from a few years ago trying to find a place open was hard. Hofbrau was open.

I'd suggest using the forum topic itself as a sign-up sheet. Much like others do for other events. See 20-somethings meetup for example.

Safran kicks ass! It is by far the best Indian in the city! Great service and great food, and thanks Nicky for organizing, and hopefully everyone had a great time tonight too.

Had good fun there and was nice to be able to smoke for one of the last times in Munich.

Great food and better company.
