Hey guys,

Ich komme aus neuseeland and I have just moved here to München very recently - Nov 28th to be exact!

I am living with German friends (a couple) so I am slowly learning the language (i also picked up a little last time I came here to visit) but I was just wondering on how long it took for the rest of you to pick up the way of life here, the lingo, all those things you need to adjust to and how easy was it to get a job? I need an english speaking one to start off with, I have been told there are many around?

I´m sure it depends on the person, but I feel I´m picking things up already. I am also starting to know the U3 by heart!

Any stories that might give me some sort of indication of what to expect would be much appreciated!

Cheers,

I suggest you get out more. There is like a whole bunch of U's to learn.

haha well i have only been here 4 days, I thought that was doing well!

I just follow my German friend until I know how to do things myself - I guess I will learn other U´s when I have reason to use them like when I make friends, get a job, know what there is around etc
