Christmas market Gluhwein meetup in Heidelberg

So Heidelberg - how about Wednesday evening? We could meet for a Gluhwein at the Weinachtsmarkt as has been suggested on other posts.

(There is no particular reason for Wednesday, any day is good for me, but we have to start somewhere!)

Good idea. I'll be going there anyway on Wednesday with a friend so we'll drop by. Just name the meeting point...sorry, I haven't a clue where's good to meet.

Wednesday evening sounds good. But maybe we should go somewhere after the gluhwein, where we can warm up and get some foodage?

Unfortunately, I may not be able to make Wed. evening I can make Tues. though... unless everyone is planning to go to the pub-quiz as well.

Either night is good for me! I'd need to know soonish though for planning.

So, why don't we say Heidelberg on Wednesday. If anyone does who want to meet on Tuesday for the quiz then thats cool too.

Someone has to think about the place though - I really only know places we have already been so am useless for this!

Where is the Xmas market anyway? Is there a good rendezvous point? Is 7:30 pm a good time?

There is a mini Weihnachtsmarkt near Galleria Kaufhof on Bismarckplatz. People could meet outside Galleria Kaufhof and then walk down Hauptstrasse towards the two big markets there. It can be a bit of a Glühwein crawl
