I haven't made it to a Tuesday night movie session in a while, but I'd like to see Beowulf while it's still around. Looking at the listings this week, I see it's only showing at 17:15 and 22:30. I can't make the early show, but is anyone up for the late one? We could grab a leisurely dinner before if so inclined.

Hey. Is it going to be in English?
I'm up for an English movie, but not for a dubbed one.
All the movies at the Sony Center Cinestar in Potsdamer Platz are original version (or subtitled if they're not in English).

I've seen it - excellent film - but try for the 3D version - it's designed for that - so watching it in 2D is well... not as good. (Yeah, I saw it twice in 10 days!)

Customarily, the Germans annoyingly dub everything; that's why I developed a dub-o-phobia and ask everytime.
the 3D version is only playing in German unfortunately.
great film tho, really enjoyed it.

Well, I'd love to see either "Gone Baby Gone" or "Rendition". Anyone up for that?
FWIW, I did manage to see Beowulf in 3D in English, and it was worth the wait. I recommend it to anyone who gets the chance while they're home over the holidays. I've heard it described as only a silly action movie, but the plot changes in Neil Gaiman's screenplay are actually interesting and thought-provoking, and make a fair amount of sense.
