Hello
I am in Munich again for 3 weeks. Last trip I was here for a month and did all the touristy stuff with my baby. She is a little older now and I would like to do something for her. She is not quite crawling yet. She loves looking at other kids and really anyone on the U/S bahn.
I have a swimming pool at the hotel which helps make the day go by. If anyone would like to join me for a swim I used to be a swim teacher I can give you some tips.
Thanks
Penny

Hi Penny,
not sure if you have seen the post on here already but if you want some indoor *fun* then a bunch of mothers meet at Hofbraukeller on Wienerplatz every Wednesday at 1.30 and you are welcome to come along. There is an indoor play area there with ball pit etc. We have a wide range of baby/children ages there ranging from 4 to 16 months. Apart from that a few of us might be off to
Tollwood tomorrow which would be good if your baby is happy to sit in a pram and look at things. Not sure on details yet but guess they will be posted on here soon.

She'll grow up
to be German if you're not careful.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

I won't be there today but lots of others will be I'm sure. I will be there next week if you are around. How long are you here for? Might be up for the swimming thing as my son (6 months) has never been and I am tempted to try him out...without drowning him!

Hi Caroline,
I caught up with the girls today it was fun. That is a great place for kids. I took my little girl swimming this morning. I am going to join some of the girls tomorrow to go to
tollwood. If you want a lesson I would love to give you some tips. I don't really have anything planned during the week so let me know when is good time for you. I am going to go again next week so maybe I will see you there or tomorrow at tollwood (if you are meeting up with everyone).
Thanks
Penny

Hi there
There is a great baby program on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at Sticky Fingers. You could buy a few sessions, and come and meet all our babies! There are lots of crawling aids, baby toys, and we sing and catch up on parenting gossip! There is loads of baby safe equipment, English books and magazines, and friendly International parents.
Have a look at our website -
www.stickyfingers-munich.com or call on 089 864 66118 if you would like to come and visit us next week and whilst you are in Munich. We are easy to find, and 8 minutes walk from the U1 station or 21 Tram.
Thanks Lara

Hello
I will be in Munich for a minimum of 11 weeks. I have never been there before and looking for somewhere that we could meet both other kids and mothers.
Thanks
Monique

Read on in the family life section and keep your eye open for meetups.
There looks to be a regular mums (never understood my dads don't get invited) get together during the week and some of us meet at the indoor playgrounds from time to time. I wouldn't recommend this for a 4 month old though.

Pas, I'm sure Dads would be equally welcome at this stage -- i think the mums meet-ups really started out as mums-to-be meet-ups, e.g., commiserating about swollen ankles and huge bellies...don't think that would be too fun for expectant dads!

For those staying in Munich longer there is Sticky Fingers English Play Center in downtown munich. I have been going with my oldest since she was about 1.5 yrs and our youngest started at about 6 months. Both love to go and it is quite flexiable.
