Donating high-heeled shoes to charity shops

Is this OK, should I be embarassed doing it?

I would like to bring some of my clothes and shoes to Red cross, but feel a little bit embarrassed bringing my high heal shoes. Is it ok to donate these type of shoes there? Or is there a better way to give them away - they are in perfect condition and I do not want to just throw them out.
Thanks,
Owain Glyndwr
why don't you just put them in one of the Altkleider bins they usually near the bottle banks. no embarrassment necessary.

The red cross probably sells them in one of their 2nd hand shops anyway, so i'm sure they'll take them.

You could try one of the Oxfam shops in Berlin...assuming they all sell 2nd hand clothes.

thank you for the replies. I just spoke to Mr speedy and he recommended that I sell these shoes on ebay and then donate the money to charity. The shoes were +100EUR/pair and this way i can give more to these charities.
The rest of the clothes I will bring to the above mentioned shops, thank you for the info
