Internship opportunities in Germany

Hi,

Am an undergraduate student, i live in Egypt and i study at the German University in Cairo.
I was looking forward to have an internship in Germany this year, i know that this time of the year is the time where all the requests are sent.
am clueless about where to start and where to search I've been going through Google lately but with no hope.
Also one of my professors in the university he's polish living in Germany told me that I'd need contacts if I'm to succeed in finding an internship.
so any info would be appreciated.

Oh and btw I'm studying Electronics Engineering.

Try the careers webpages of other German industrial firms that would employ electrical engineers (try to find smaller and midsized ones as well).
