Hi all, I am posting for Scogs who is in Düsseldorf this week and a complete stranger to the town. Where is a good place to watch the - ahem - football (soccer to me) match in a not too smoky ambience with high availability of Guinness? He can't access Toytown so don't bother PMing him; I will pass on any information via SMS.

Where to watch in Düsseldorf
Hmm I don't know about non-smoky ambience but I'm guessing they have Guiness at McClaughlins in the Altstadt. (Have only been there once and can't remember if they had Guiness or not. I do know that they're showing the football game though).
O'Reilly's is a lively pub smack bang in the middle of the Altstadt. Over 2 floors with loads of space and big televisions showing sports too.

Oops. O'Reilly's was the one I meant. No wonder I couldn't remember if they had Guiness or not .

They do - but in 0.4 litre glasses (at least the last time I was there). Hope this won't pose a problem for anyone. It just makes ya drink that bit more...

I am sure Sarabyrd could have picked a better picture. I went to O´Rielys and had a great time and a very nice steak
