Not on sale yet, but soon.
And at one of my favourite venues too - keep 'em peeled folks, as they'll be on sale this week.

Erm...the
atomic cafe gig can be beaten...firstly, they didnt play Traffic (best 'phonics song IMO) and Backstage Werk is EASILY the best venue in Munich.
Johnny English
Nov 28 2007, 2:59 pm
I agree it's a funny kinda comment.
Atomic Cafe gig was good - but it's history - so if you like Sterephonics in general why not go again on a different date/venue?
Bit like saying I had a fantastic day offpiste snowboarding in deep snow and sunshine, so not worth going boarding ever again!!!

I've put them in my 'been there - done that' pile. There is plenty of acts I haven't seen that I'd rather spend my cash on now. Plus Atomic was a great gig for me.

Tickets are now available on
Ticketbox. 2€ a pop cheaper than Eventim.

Nov 29 2007, 8:47 pm
To be honest I wouldn't start worrying about tickets yet. Even when they played
Atomic Cafe tickets were available on the night. I bought tickets for the Kaiser Chiefs 3 days before the gig. Generally, only world famous bands like the Police or Genesis sell out months in advance, it's one of the many advantages of living in the Munich area, that great bands are easy to see.

Dec 1 2007, 2:50 pm
can agree with you, much easier to get tickets here but did you really get tickets for the
atomic cafe gig in the evening? unfortunately couldnt see them then - so just got tickets for the backstage gig - brilliant to see the valley boys again, after my long time in cardiff

To be fair, no-one knew that they would let the extra 20-30 hopefuls in on the night at the
Atomic Cafe. Tickets were trading on ebay for 150 euros a pop in the week before so it certainly WAS a tricky gig for tickets. When I turned up there was quite a scrum of people waiting outside, so was nice to walk in with tickets rather than wait for an hour or two in the cold!! So they let the others in eventually, but only later on.
I do agree Munich is a great place to see UK bands 'cos you can indeed nearly always get tickets for everyone, PLUS you often see tickets coming back on sale 24-48 hours before a "sold out" gig, which are perhaps returns from retail sites etc.
In my humble opinion this one will also sell out, so I would gently advise buying tickets in advance rather than scrambling about later. There have been gigs such as Arcade Fire etc recently where people where scrabbling around for tickets.

I'd agree with regard to buying on the night, that's not a good idea, but a couple of weeks before hand is ok. I bought my tickets for Kaiser chiefs 3 days before the gig. Being such a disorganised person, buying tickets months in advance is fraught with danger for me!

Well I bought my ticket a few moments ago

The Stereophonics are well worth seeing live...has anyone here been to a concert of theirs before?
A bit early to fix up plans I guess, but I would be happy if anyone would like to meet up beforehand and go together

I've got a couple of spare tickets for this if anyone fancies going. The tickets were €24.50. Should be a top gig.
Hi, going tonight to this concert. Does anybody want to meet up before for a drink? What time and where?

I've got one more ticket left for this tonight as I've been convinced to go and watch the Bayern derby instead! If you want it, send me a PM and we can arrange to meet up in town at about 7.

Right...
well excellent concert I thought :
Hero were absolutely brilliant ... great drummer , lead guitarist and vocals although in the latter case very reminiscent of Bowie.
Kelly Jones got up , bit rusty to start off with but a lot better after getting into it. Jaysus he's a bit small tho.
Wasn't too impressed with the lead guitarist or the drummer who seemed (at least to me) to be just getting a good workout rather than tricking out.
Having said that , brilliant brilliant night - lots of my favourite TTers were there , usual suspects and all that. Bit of crowd response later on and soundin like Shane McGowan on the whiskey this mornin in the shower . Magic.

Awesome gig, better than Atomic concert in sep. They played all the classics too.
Backstage Werk beats any venue in Munich.

Jaysus he's a bit small tho.
He must be a midget to make an SG and a Jazzmaster look big. He reminds me of a puppet from
Team America - all head and no shoulders.
The song directly after new tune
Pass The Buck was really good, didn't catch the name though - anyone?
Have to agree, Backstage Werk has become my favourite venue in Munich, even shortarses like me can get to see some of the band. Smashing gig, miles better than Queens Of The Stone Age last week.

really great concert this was, defenitely reminded me of the times in cardiff and seeing them there. Obviously the gigs at millenium stadium were a bit bigger but the backstage is a great venue to see this band.
