yes, eating one whole tiny bag of crisps a day is very bad for you ...crisps are perfectly ok to eat as part of a balanced diet. As is everything else. its the exercise or lack of that makes people fat and unhealthy. also remember that we in the uk had the amazing idea to make bags of crisps really small, as opposed to germans who havn't worked out how to make any bag size apart from 'massive'
And to point to crisps as the uk's achilles heel of health is a bit rich when a german(bavarian) diet consists of pork, pork fat, hardly any vegetables apart from cabbage thats been cooked so long there's no vitamins left in it, far more salt in every meal than is necessary..oh and more beer per head than brits drink to wash it down with
