Skiing trips from Nuremberg, winter 2007/8

Do we have many people interested in skiing on this forum? I am wondering if we have many people in this area that would like to take some road trips down to Austria this winter. We could get together some carpool trips.

My wife and I are interested, but have a 11 month old, so that creates some logistical issues. But please keep me in the loop and we will try to get out and hit the slopes.

There are some day trip small slopes around also if you are interested.

I'm in! I am more than happy to kick in gas money (especially if I can be fetched from Amberg instead of having to schlep my skis to Nuremberg)

My particular favorites are Stubai at the beginning and end of the season, and Hochgurgl/Obergurgl during the main season. Wilder Kaiser is closer to the border, and offers a lot of mid-level terrain.

I am very interested. I don't where to go but love to ski. I would be more than happy to help plan a trip.

I'm in - with wife and 3 kids.
Not for car pooling of course but just for a fun get together.

my favourite austrian resort is kaltenbach in zillertal. it is about 4 hours from nuremberg and there are even bus companies offering day trips for about 55 bucks...
when is the next trip?

Has there been any further interest in this? It is a good idea and I would be interested in leaving from Nuremberg.
