Chinese restaurants in Cologne

I would like to take my boyfriend to a nice chinese restaurant in Colonge and i was wondering if anyone has any recommendations...

what sort of chinese food are you after? there are many different regional specialties and i would need to know in order to make a good recommendation.

Actually good question Charley...does anyone know any place that does Yum Cha? i've been itching for some since having had some really good stuff when last in London...

I know Eden Garten near I think Rudolfplatz - it's an all-you-can-eat buffet for €11 ish with sushi and Chinese. Not as much selection as ones I've been to at home though

the closest place i heard for dim sum is at Düsseldorf where they have a whole bunch of chinese restaurants...

best i had so far in germany was in hamburg though - they even had pictures of several chinese VIPs dining there!

Next to Hotel Excelsior near the Dom and Hbf you'll find an outstanding Chinese restaurant.
It is on the first floor above Mc Donalds.

The China palace in Refrath is excellent and worth the drive from Koln

I concur, although it did go downhill for a bit. Another good one is in Bensberg near the Schloß, buggered if I can remember the name of it though.
