Bachelorette and hen parties

a friend (well, a Bekannte) is having her civil ceremony soon and i suggested a bachelorette party. trouble is, she only recently moved to the area and has practically no friends in the area except for a few acquaintances like myself who are either the girlfriends or ex girlfriends (like me) of her soon-to-be-husbands work colleagues. i worked with him last year, which is how i know her, and through me she has gotten to know one other gal at the gym we all go to. anyhow, long story short. her soon-to-be husband has lots of friends here and they will do a bachelor party for him and so i wanna do something nice for her.

problem is what? i do not know her very well, but what i do know is that those traditional-sell-a-kiss-for-a-Euro gags would not fly with her. it should be a bit more sophisticated (she has just started her traineeship as a lawyer), but i do know she likes to drink and go dancing. for me it is important that her night is just as memorable as his will undoubtedly be. I've gathered 5 gals and since we all do not know each other very well, I want to do something to make it fun and not superficial.

anyone got any ideas or websites i could browse? we'll probably start off at her place, eat some tapas, then i thought we could all give her some typical bachelorette party gifts (!!!), then head out to town. it would be cool to play games along the way. I'd be greatful for any advice. it's in less than 2 weeks!

a friend of mine recently did this:

met up at a beauty salon type place for manicures, pedicures & champagne...then went on to do a pole dancing class and then went for a lovely dinner in a jazz club. Very civilised, fun and ok to do in a small group.

Does anyone have an idea where I could get sex toys, gag gifts for a bachelorette party, stuff like that without having to go to porn video shops? I would probably go to Beate Uhse or something, but not sure if Mannheim has one. Yes I will google it!

how about, instead of a kiss for a euro thing, you could have a sort of treasure hunt for her. so she has a list of facts about her and she has to find other ppl who match up to them and something like, sign their name to her sheet of paper, or on her shirt

someone who:
has the same name as her fiance
born in the same town as she
has the same job
first name of what she wants to name her son/daughter
favorite color
etc. it'll be easier for her once she gets a few drinks in her system!

You gotsta doing something different (from what she is accustomed too) and make it memorable. I suggest a list. Yes a list. These things she must collect from total strangers. She must wear this list plastered to a big heart hanging around her neck. This is a "mission impossible" and as such, all the other girls have to be "body guards" (dress in black and throw on some shades while she is all dressed in white). Meet somewhere for drinks to get into the mood and perform the first task. There should be 13 tasks and they should get progressively harder.

Example:
1) Get the waiter (or waitress) to kiss the cheek of the bride to be.
.
.
.
.
13) Get a guy to take his shirt off and dance like a chicken (arm flapping and all) with the bride to be.

Best to reveal the next task only after the previous task has been fulfilled.

Ah, possible. I have only been in one, and it was a few years ago, I did think it was on Breite Straße too, but then I saw this address and thought, well that has to be it.

At a friends hen night we had organised a serie of questions concerning their relationship that her boyfriend had to answer in advance.

On the hen night we would ask her the same questions and compare the answers. It turned out to be quite funny and started some good funny conversations. Works even better if the boyfriend has a sense of humour!

The night turned out very well. She is quite sweet, rather innocent-like, so it wasn't too hard to surprise her. We all wore black feather boas, she in red, with red fisnets gloves and a mini crown. We started off at her place, eating some tapas, drinking prosecco, then we opened presents and some of them we had to operate, which made for great photos and mini-movies. I prepared 10 tasks, each having point values and after she collected certain points, we'd buy her a drink. Some had high points, some low. In any case, the ranged from some sport activity (she did ballet for 12 years), to singing (she loves karaoke), to trivia (she is studying to be a lawyer). Of course, if she succeeded in some tasks, then we, the "hens", had to do something (I made us all sing "It's Raining Men").

It wasn't raunchy or anything, but it was a great night out. And we laughed so much my cheeks hurt!
