Dear Toytowners,
The Foreign Entrepreneur Support Network is pleased to announce its first "How-to" seminar for English speaking entrepreneurs/freelancers.

Ralf Otto, German tax consultant specialized in dealing with the English speaking market, will graciously hold a seminar on "Dealing with Mehrwertsteuer". This will be a 15-20 minute overview of the most important issues we need to consider when handling Mwst, followed
by a question and answer period where we will have the opportunity to harvest information from both Ralf and each other's brains. So, if you are a small business owner, freelancer or non-profit, or thinking about becoming any of these, this seminar should be of use to you.

The spirit of this question and answer period will be participatory in nature and we invite you to share your personal experience in order to
help others understand where potential problems could lie. Let's make the most of this experience by both engaging with a German expert who
will give us the facts and guidance, as well with each other by adding our very valuable practical knowledge, experiences, and troubles. Now
that's learning!

The cost of this seminar will be 15 Euro. Space is limited to 15 and places are reserved on a first come, first served basis so book fast! To reserve a space please send personal message to me or answer in this forum.

Date: Wednesday, November 21 at 18:30

Where: Offices of Ralf Otto
Milastr. 2
10437 Berlin Prenzlauerberg
U-Bahn Eberswalder str.

Sincerely,

Allison

I don't know that I can make this particular meeting however, I have been a business owner before (in the U.S.) and I am interested in business ownership here in Berlin and would be interested in learning how to start and run one here. I have a newborn so it's hard to come to a seminar such as this at the moment but perhaps there are other ways I can learn this.

Was this a one off thingy? Would be interested in participating in the next event if there is one!

There will be more. We will probably plan the next one for late January early February. If you send me a personal message with your email address, I can add you to the mailing list.
Take care,
allison
