Lemsip cold + flu treatment, available in Munich?

Anyone know if you can buy lemsips somewhere in Munich?

have you tried an Apotheke or a DM?

Only place I ever saw them was the little shop at kilians, but that was a year ago almost, and I think I heard that they no longer have the little shop open anymore.

I would normally be able to offer you a box myself, but have recently had a cold and drank the lot. Ask someoby who is popping to England to get some at Boots at the airport. Only small, so not a hassle for anyone to carry.

I have a box of Max strength Lemsips you can have. PM me if you want them.

This company is responsible for selling the stuff here in Germany, maybe someone might want to get in touch and ask where you buy the stuff.

Each delivery costs 5 GBP so it would make sense to stock up or a bunch of TTers could group together.

I have a couple of boxes of max strength capsules, if you need a box let me know.

Have also asked my poor dear mother to send over another couple of boxes, so can easily spare if box.

Contac is a pretty good alternative. Same sort of thing in that you mix it with hot water and drink it on the sofa in front of the TV feeling sorry for yourself. Available at all chemists. Its just as good medically but not as lemony

as i found out yesterday, most apoteks here in munich will sell you the single compenents and not the complete premixed solution...

My girlfriend is a nurse here in Munich, and she swears by Lemsip max strength, says there is nothing like it in Germany !

thanks for the replies... thanks for the offers, but i'm gonna get my mum to ship some over i'm not surprised that they don't have it here... what with the germans being so eco-lala etc... I've taken to the old remedy of whiskey and lemon and if it's not actually helping, it's at least diverting the pain elsewhere

I love this stuff and am always afraid to get caught at the customs for having a back pack full of that stuff, when I am coming back from the UK or Ireland. In Ireland you are only allowed to buy a package per person of the max strength ones. Sorry, I know, off topic, but just having one now as I am sick AGAIN.

Yeah I spicy curry definitely clears the nose, but I always have to make sure I have a supply of Lemsip laying around, particularly the max strength.

@ Bubbly, when I am in England and buy about 4 boxes they always question me why I am buying so many, then when I explain, they just laugh, and are amazed you cannot get it in Germany !

I always stock up on the stuff, as its invaluable at this time of year. I had to get my dad, sister and gf to go through the counter at Sainsburys so that I could buy enough, they thought I was going to top myself. Ibuprofin (sp?) tabletts, flu tabletts and stuff, all available at the SUPER MARKET... GERMANY PASS AUF!!!

If you go to Boots they do ask you some questions as to why you are buying all this stuff, its really funny some of the questions they ask you.

But I don't think they would stop you anyway no matter what you said !
