Which city in Germany should I move to?

Spanish IT engineer seeking somewhere cheap

I am a young Spanish IT Engineer (26) I earned my degree 2 years ago, and since then I’ve only had the opportunitty to work as a Support Engineer. I woulld like to move to Germany because, I have understood that theres’s a lack of IT Engineers there. I don’t speak any Geman at all, but I am eager to learn as soon as I get there. The thing is that I don’t know exactly where to go, because Germany has a high unemployend rate but on the other hand is lucking IT Engineer. I speak fluently English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. I would like to go to a city not very expensive ‘cause I will be going without a job. So somewhere not expensive, where I can have the opportunity to work in the IT industry without needing any German. At least for the first 6 months. I was thinking about Erfurt, Leipzig. Can you suggest me any other places? Specially somewhere where housing is not expensive, so I can easy rent a flat easily.

Thanks in advance.

I know of a number of unemployed IT engineers (in Germany) having been "released" by the company... But then "IT engineer" covers a variety of sins...
