Can anyone tell me where I might be able to buy Shredded Cheddar Cheese for Taco Dip or Ricotta for Lasagna?
Or anything even similiar??
Thanks!!

Ricotta should be available at any grocery store, labelled ricotta. Otherwise, Hüttenkäse is cottage cheese.
Shredded Cheddar will involve you purchasing a block of overpriced orange cheddar and shredding it yourself. You are better off buying some shredded cheese that describes itself as "Pizza Käse" as it will have the mild flavour you are looking for.

try the aez in martinsried, or the cheese shop next to cafe voltaire on the bahnhof strasse, but showem's right it'll be expensive and here you'll have to grate it yourself.

Not entirely true. Yes, you'll have to shred it yourself, but there's white cheddar in the Edeka at the airport that's reasonably priced. Walmart sells the orange stuff, but that definitely is overpriced.

Once you figure in the price of the trip to the airport, that's an expensive block of cheese.

Well it's only three S-bahn stops for me and no extra with my Gruenekarte. I stock up on several at a time. It's worth it for me to make an occasional trip to stock up on stuff I can't get elsewhere, like curries and the cheese.
