Koala...you wouldnt be working at EADS would you ?!

are you as happy about Ikea opening up as I am !?
koala
marka,

No - they probably wouldn't want me at EADS. But I wish Ikea would hurry up and open up cos I need a bed!
marka
Koala..you can always order one online and they'll even deliver and if you make a cup of coffee they might even put it together for you :-)
koala
Sure marka,

But I want to look at the damn things and try them out before I hand over the cash...and THAT requires a trek out to Timbuctoo!
Malcolm Spudbury
Ikea charge a fucking fortune for delivery - and as far as I remember, the cost is related to the value of the stuff you order, not volume or weight.

If you're wanting to buy several things, it's probably more cost effective to hire a van for the day...
marka
Just think of the rewards though...swedish meatballs !!
Noddy
I'm not sure Ikea have private areas where you can try out the beds, Koala, so you'd probably end up getting arrested wink.gif
koala
Noddy,
You mean they'd get upset if I was to sit on the bed?

I'm not so sure about that Noddy. This is Germany afterall. Hell, didn't you hear about that woman last week who got a cab and proceeded to strip off all her clothes (she threw them out the window) and demand sex from the astonished driver? She didn't get arrested.
Malcolm Spudbury
Hoddy, I thought you didn't want to talk about your drunken exploits after the TT lounge party?
hoddysded
Why did I have a feeling I would regret my comments right after I posted them? blink.gif
Noddy
Did she give the driver a tip? Or did the driver just give her his?
hoddysded
Actually, the driver gave the cops a tip.

IKEA Brunnthal will be open all night tonight (Friday 7th July-Saturday 8th July).

Viele Angebote und tolle Aktionen wie Modenschauen, Kuschelkino in der Schlafzimmerabteilung und Champagnerfrühstück im Restaurant laden dich und deine Familie ein. There's also a pretty cool SAS offer for flights to Scandalands from 135€ return for IKEA Family members. See site for details.
