Scuba diving near Hamburg

Does anyone know any local scuba clubs?

Contact PADI they will have a club close to you...but trust me...buy a dry bag coz it will be fu****** cold

your asking for clubs ("vereine") << basically PADI has the upper hand in Germany, closely followed from CMAS. CMAS is a club orientated system. meaning regular meetings/pool sessions/trainings etc, BUT you pay a monthly fee to what ever "verein" your in.

when your already a diver and qualified in England under BSAC. BSAC is acknowledged in Germany!
when your looking to do a course... we can do most courses in 6 langauges, English/Spanish/French/Dutch & Turkish

local diving is mainly done in the
Baltic Sea or in Hemmoor(something like Stoney Cove)

wreckdiving is offered in the sommer months in the ostsee & northsea

heheheh... u should get i dry suit!
in the sommer the Baltic can reach 20 grad! thats pretty WARM (Äygpten = 22) Hemmoor can be also warmer!
its true that if you wanna dive all year your going to need a DRY SUIT!
btw. i dive all year... almost every 2nd week i am in the water Hemmoor/Ostsee/Dänemark/Wreckdiving/ etc etc.

Thanks for the info!

I just called and spoke to Ralph. I fancy doing a dry suit course, I'm not sure if I'll be able to make the November one, but if not I'll contact you to do one in January.

cool... was on holiday a few days... ralph is my better half...
