Length of time for court papers to be served

"Zustellungszeiten" experiences in civil cases

Anyone have experience with how long it takes courts to process filings and have papers served in little (in)civil issues?

In my petty rental drama, I had the motion filed against my flatmate a week ago. My lawyer still hasn't gotten notice whether she's been served.

Was really hoping she'd receive notice I'd filed while I was away, so she'd have time to collect herself and maybe even be ready to talk to a mediator by the time I get back.

Thought I'd be away for a few weeks, but a kink in the project means we're headed back to Germy for at least a few days. Argh. It's definitely not being held up by court fee issues.

Took 5 work days - last week was a holiday here, right?

Not a word from my flatmate though. Dunno, if I got a happy yellow envelope from the court, I'd take a hard look at what's inside and then question my lawyer's advising to date.
