Why do petrol stations do this?

Hi.

Until the last few weeks I have noticed that on my daily commute to drop the wife at work from Budingen to Frankfurt that Petrol Etc has been significant cheaper on Mondays. Can anyone tell me the reason for this?

Supply and demand. Decided by the local gas stations based on business conditions... See e.g. this article:
