Hi,
I was wondering if anybody knows where I can buy a whole turkey for Thanksgiving in Frankfurt. Thanks!

I always get mine at the Kleinmarkthalle. There's a poultry shop on the floor, about halfway back on the left and another one on the mezzanine level. I've ordered from both and never had a problem. I'd order it at least a week in advance though.

Excuse my ignorance but is a Thanksgiving turkey different to a normal turkey? Just curious about the title
Anyway I saw whole frozen turkeys in my local Tengelmann and they are also quite often in the larger Rewe supermarkets. But of course quality is not going to be anything like the Kleinmarkthalle so if you want the best probably better to go there
I picked up a turkey from the Hilton in downtown Frankfurt a few years back fully prepared since I had a typical smaller german oven. They couldn't tell me how much it was until I picked it up because they didn't know what they could find. It was huge (costly 60-70 Euros), quite tasty and my wife didn't have to work at it all day.

This might sound dumb, but don't forget to measure your oven before buying a turkey!
A lot of German ovens won't hold a whole turkey and that would be a hell of a thing to realize on thanksgiving day.

The metro is also good. A tip, that I had to learn the wrong way. Do not wait until the day before to buy a turkey. Even though it is not a German holiday you might luck out and not find one.My fridge is microscopic so I decided to wait until the last day and I ended up serving Cornish hen-LOL
