More BBC channels coming to Germany in 2008

Read this on the train this morning, BBC Worldwide, which is responsible for all BBC commercial activities, is planning the launch of FOUR new english speaking channels next year. Exactly how and exactly who will carry them I dont know.

I guess if Kabel Media can ge hold of this it would be great for those who can not get a sat up. Would make their english packet more english and worth the money. One point though...

Here in Belgium it is quite normal to have BBC 1,2,3 and 4 in a basic cable conecction... I pay 13 Euros a month and I get local channels as channels from all over while in Berlin I had to pay more than 50 a month to get BBC Prime and a few films in English... What a rip-off, Why can the cable companies move on with the times?
