Ostbahnhof pool hall was closed last night

Went to try and play pool at the pool hall in Ostbahnhof last night with a couple of friends, and it was closed. There was no notice on the door or anything like that - it was simply locked with the lights off - so no idea if it's permenant or just temporary, and if so for how long. So if anyone is planning to go and play there, it might be an idea to phone first.

Anyone know anything about it?

is this the one that looks like a strip club but there are only pool tables, and odd vending machines? on some raised platform bit

Nope, it's a big Pool and Snooker hall downstairs at the Ostbahnhof, right opposite the entrance to the U-Bahn entrance.

dunno what is going on but it was closed this evening too, along with the pizza and noodle place kinda connected to it

I passed by there yesterday around 7pm and it was still closed, along with the food stalls beside the entrance. Two things I thought rather odd: there was no notice or anything on the door saying why it was closed, and the neon signs were lit up, which you wouldn't expect if it had closed down for good.

Found their number and just tried to give them a call, but I got a "Number not assigned message".

Ya'll know that the 1 Underground level is being renovated don't ya?
Thats why all the celing tiles have been removed and guys working down there for the last few 6-8 months.
Perhaps the closed places are going to get (a) Renovated ( B ) Kicked out to make room for something else..

as i passed by there today, i noticed signs in the windows looking for help for the new opening of a new italian pasta joint.

And Now Ya know... Time to find a new Pool hall
