I reserved a ticket for the 19:30 Dallmayr Wein Tasting event. I wondered if there would be any other English speaking people attending? I am new to Munich and new to Toytown. The Dallmayr representative told me it would be a dressy event - could be fun.

I'll be there at the 19:30 session with 3 or 4 other English-speakers. I guess you'll find us easily enough - we'll most likely be the only ones speaking English if the previous events are anything to go by.

I put a few pictures in the gallery.

Were you really a head taller than anyone else there? Or isn't that you?

And is there a list anywhere of all the wines offered? I totally blanked out on this, looks like it was a good time!
Malcolm Spudbury
That was me. I just employed some low-tech trickery to make myself look taller. In other words, I held the camera up a bit higher.

As far as I know there isn't a list online. I can scan the paper list that I got, if you want.

That would be really cool. I've always wondered if events like these have wineries I know at them, or if it's basically Dallmayr's usual stock...

I noticed a previous post mentioning Dallmayr did wine tastings in March ... does anyone know if they intend to do one this year ? I don't see anything on the website ... Thanks !
Malcolm Spudbury
If they're doing one they probably won't start advertising it till early March, like last time.
