Hi,
I need some advice from you guys. I'm planning to continue my studies in Germany but I can't seem to find any fashion marketing course around the area. Mostly are fashion design courses or technical/textile related course, and they are in german. I just don't think my german is good enough to handle a degree course...
The closest I have come to is Textile and Clothing Management (course in English) in Moenchengladbach FH. Is anyone by chance a student there?
I called the department the other day, during our conversation I mentioned to him that I have never been in that town before and his answer was: (a long laugh) Small!
Oh my...I just can't imagine a fashion school in small town, doe it make any sense?

Mönchengladbach has a population of approx. 280.000 ... and used to be an important center of the German textile and fashion industry up until the mid-20th century

Thanks for your info!
I have no idea why the man from the department was acting this way, maybe he is from another town or something. And I'm not so much a figure kind of person, I came from a city where the population is by millions, it's hard to compare to the cities in Germany. I think only berlin has over millions people, no?

Kuala Lumpur (the only Malaysian city with a population above 1 million) has about half a million fewer inhabitants than Hamburg ...
Sorry dude, i just checked wiki and Kuala Lumpur has about 1.8 million population by 2007, just a 0.1 million more than Hamburg.
P/S to everyone: I'm getting much away from my original topic

need advise on fashion marketing course in germany.

Hallo
I am a student in HSN, and also i am taking the course of Textile and Clothing Management in English. I have to say MG is really not a big city, but it's famaus for textile or clothing industry. If you really want to study it, and at the meantime you do want a colorful life. You can live in Cologne or some big cities as you want. Because i know many students studying here, while living a bit far away.
By the way, there's almost 80 new studunts in English this semester.
Good luck!
Hi there,
Many thanks for the info, it's very helpful to me. I'll be applying for the next year opening.
Hope to see you at the school soon!
